Vegan School Lunches
Our almost-4-year-old daughter will be starting a new preschool this month, and I'm really excited to start making her healthy and delicious vegan lunches. Some of the lunches I'm planning start with one of my Veganize It! recipes like Tuna(less) Salad, and Mac 'n' Cheese. I've also been inspired by some ideas in Jennifer McCann's book, 'Vegan Lunch Box'. My biggest thrill was getting a reusable lunch bag and stainless steel thermos and tiffin from OneSmallStep.com, so Olivia's lunches can be waste-free in addition to being vegan. Hooray for the triple win (environment + health + compassion)!!
